I thought you were having a laugh until i had a look on Wikipedia.

Hangover II

The Beach wasn't decent.

'North of Chiang Mai' - made in the eighties I believe. Decent in an extremely loose sense.

You've got a very low standard for defining "decent".

Although the fact that the Bond franchise is basically a spoof of its own genre gives it a certain cheesy appeal, but a Roger Moore one? sorry lost me. . .

Bangkok Dangerous, and an ever worse film with Steven Seagal I think.

many of the Vietnam movies, and contrary to what many would think NOT bridge over the river kwai

Roger Moore was the man! I haven't been impressed with recent bond actors.

Good Morning, Vietnam.

Ong Bak, and I forget the name and I haven't seen it, but a Thai made film won the Palme D'or a couple of years ago.

Actually anything with a Coppola in it can't be all that bad. . .

Good Morning, Vietnam.

Now that's the first one that's crossed my threshold for "decent", one of Robin's best - not saying much I know, never knew such a brilliant showman to make so many stinkers!

Suriyothai? About the historical/legendary lady general?

chok dee was ok

beautiful boxer not so good but watchable because its about a friend.

Best of a bad lot IMO - Suckseed, The Love of Siam, My Girl, Shutter (if you're into horror)

Casualties of War with Michael J. Fox and Sean Penn.

The Killing Fields with Sam Waterston.

Movies that have been filmed in Thailand include The Big Boss (1941), Around the World in Eighty Days (1956), The Ugly American (1963), The Deer Hunter (1978), The Killing Fields (1984), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Good Morning Vietnam (1987), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The Beach (2000), Alexander (2004), Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason (2004), Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith (2005), Stealth (2005), andThe Hangover Part II (2011).

Hot Potatoe starring Black Belt Jones (cheesy kung <deleted> ) was filmed in C.M. ..... parts of American Gangster (Denzel Washington).

Kickboxer - jean claude van damme

city of ghosts was ok

shutter pretty good thai movie IMO

I met two famous actors, who were filming in Bangkok.

One was Kylie Minogue who was making 'Street Fighter'.

The other was Jonathan Ryth Myers, who a was a really sound bloke, who was making 'Alexander.'

Bangkok Dangerous, the original Thai version, was good. The Ohm Baht flicks were good.

As extremely loose as a script allowing for a border between Thailand and Vietnam.

Must have been written, filmed and produced the same week. Budget: 3 somtams

My first trip to TL I was an extra the the Gina Davis pirate flick that was a total dud. It was terrible. Miserable experience.

The young Thai hood that was assisting Nick Cage in that flick used an interesting curse in Thai that I've never heard in real conversation before (not that I hang around in those circles). He called him, how to say, "one who sleeps with ducks."

hellgate 2011, just downloaded it but not had time to watch it yet , set in bangkok .

See the original Thai version. Good flick.

The Ugly American (1963)

And M. R. Kukrit Pramoj played the Prime Minister of the fictional country, "Sarkhan", in the film. He went on to become the 13th PM of Thailand.
