When Is The Rainy Season Over ?

Featured Replies

Any guesses ?

There was some bloke on telly this morning saying that it will be clinging on for a while yet.

It does seem to be raining more later than usual this year, hopefully stop soon.

Usually by the third week in October !!!!

Kind of weak rainy season this year. Thankfully it is pretty much over.

You will be praying for rain if it doesnt rain for a month or so. Pattaya gets really on the nose if it doesnt rain for awhile.

Rainy season is already over. It rains during other times of year, but not as often.

Officially ( sort of ) the rainy /wet season ended in October but this is Thailand ....so go figger coffee1.gifcoffee1.gif

Just what I was thinking - I hope the rain stops by 17.20 on Friday - so TG-619 has a nice landing thumbsup.gif

My pet theory is that the weather is confused due to the extra lunar cycle this year (blue moon in August), hence Loy Kratong is runing late this year. But predictably the rains will stop just as all of the girls finish getting their hair done on the 28th !

you can bank on it ! w00t.gifclap2.gifcheesy.gif

You're not the only one having this theory.

Moon cycles obviously influence what's happening on Earth (tides etc), so it can very well influence the climate.

Late Loy Krathong = late rainy season.

Somebody told me exactly this a few weeks ago!

It will be over shortly. 1 week or less is my guess.
