NB. Rambo is a fictional character portrayed by Sylvester Stallone in a popular yet dire series of films. While many US citizens do actually believe he is lurking in the woods, living like a hermit, ready to be called upon in times of dire need, he isn't, he doesn't actually exist, ergo discussing what a real Rambo does seems a bit infantile and irrelevant, much like discussing what the real Superman eats for tea.... he doesn't eat anything, he doesn't exist, he's not real...

One of the differences between humans and dumb animals is having the gift of imagination - ?

Aye and one of the differences between a sane person and an insane one is the ability to distinguish fiction from reality!

Ferangled is just a moniker. An empty label. A fictional character in the labyrinths of TV.

Behind that label could be Lord Lucan, Shirley Temple or Scooby Doo. Who knows in this virtual world?

Errr.... quite! It's also my username on TV...

The likelihood that Scooby Doo is posting on this forum under any moniker is fairly slim, ignoring the difficulty of typing with paws, much like Rambo, Scooby Doo is actually a fictional character...

Ah yes. Where were we.....

It seems to me that the geography of the pseudo-manichaeistic divide would appear to be roughly north south with the darker forces having a form of fragile buffer in the provinces that surround the Bangkok Metropolitan area.

Prem, being a Songkhla boy, would naturally be on the lighter side and as his career, both professionally and personally has been to serve King and Country, it would make perfect sense for him to take a stance that is quite naturally anti PTP.

However, given that he is the highest representative of the courtiers, it has certainly been his wont to be seen as apolitical despite the aggressive attempts of the darker side to taint him with unsupported accusations.

It is therefore my humble opinion that elder statesman Prem is not directly linked to the Pitak Siam movement.

Catmac they do it because they have nothing sensible to bring to the discussion, if they did have I am sure they would let us know, but in the lack of any opinion that isn't plainly ridiculous they just go down this avenue so all their buddies can think how clever they are for making jokes, or posting pictures that have no relevance.

it is tedious and it is pointless, all it does is lifts people post count with garbage posts.

However, commenting on those posts is constructive and educational, not at all attention seeking behaviour designed to lift peoples counts. But back on topic its good to see that Yinglucks good friend Prem isnt involved in anti-government protests.

I have seen the former dictator singing on TV while playing piano. Prem. Fidel Castro, they are in a matter all the same. They are becoming surely but slowly senile start wearing pampers again, have never held a tablet or used the internet and still they believe they understand what is good for the country. It is about time that we let them alone. There should not be too much attention for these old people as they keep on thinking that there opinion is still important. Prem is a dangerous man though just because the power in Thailand is in the hands of people with prostate problems.

What a load of dross.

I am afraid it may be lyrical but it is not dross. Read this line

"I don't know General Boonlert personally. But I joined the protest because I love my country. I am an old soldier but I still want to love the country and to protect the monarchy. Now go read a million other editorials from these old boys it the same.. LOve country Love King Love Religion... So is he saying that the present government dont. And he doesnt personally know Boonlert, a privy council member who is ex forces Admiral not know a man who played a huge part in the last coup when he was in office. This is the problem before the masses would believe that now they know better.

For fear of being accused of flaming or baiting I will just say to the people posting on this forum "if the shoe fits wear it". If it does not fit then no problem.

Phone rings: Hello, oh hello Worshipful Master how is the weather in Dubai? Yes I am logged on to TVF now.

Yes my Lord I saw the article in the paper about Prem. Yes oh Majestic One let me get a pen and paper.

Ok Sire I am ready. Ok..........OK.........OK..........OK.......yes my most Beloved Leader I have it and will post this on TVF so all the haters of your democracy will be ashamed hehe.

Of course I agree with you my Gracious Hero, Prem is old and should be wearing adult diapers and is lost in the previous 100 years. I will surely convey your message my Blessed Khun Thaksin.

Has the medication worn off?

You are seriously suggesting that anyone sceptical of the situation in Thailand that does not conform hook line and sinker to the Nation/ Democrat/ PAD propaganda is doing so as a result of a direct line to Thaksin?

Dont be too hard on him he has a job to do, sadly few but his colleagues believe what he writes.

Apolitical... are you snorting some thing. Why is it '"quite naturally anti PTP"" Is he suggesting the PTP is a threat to his lifes work. Absolute nonsense again.

Going back on topic as our beloved moderators like us to, where does all this leave us with the chap mentioned in the OP, deputy secretary-general to the prime minister and UDD leader Suporn (aka Rambo) ?

We have a high level taxpayer-salaried adviser to Yingluck and indicted criminal suspect out on bail relaying the commands from her convicted fugitive overseas brother with threats of violence.

Given that chastity is a pre-requisite for that position, one can only retrospectively wish that that were the case.

What evidence can you provide to support your statement that Prem is not apolitical?

The PTP are viewed by some as having republican ideals. That would be anathema to Prem's beliefs.

Try substantiating your own points rather than attempting to shoot mine down in a barrage of ill conceived hyperbolic bluster

The more things change the more they stay the same.

The media spotlight was focused on Privy Council President General Prem Tinsulanonda and Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra as they met publicly for the second time yesterday.

Prem was a guest of honour at the gala dinner hosted by the Yingluck administration at Government House last evening. Held under the theme "Love Thailand, Move Thailand Forward", the Bt10-million event was held to thank people and organisations for helping the government with its flood-relief efforts, sources said.

10 million for yet another pi$$ up? I'd like a look at the guest list. My guess is that Plodprasop was sitting at top table. Those still waiting to receive compensation and monetary grants to get their lives back in some sort of order - untl the next time - will be heartened that the Government is acting so positively.

It's not often that comments on Thai Visa leave me speechless, but this one had me struggling for breath like a landed goldfish.

How could you let us all down by posting something like this. You recently posted how much more intelligent , witty and smart you are than us old guys. Now which is it? Either you were putting us on in your first post or you are putting us on in this post.
