Art Supplies In Chiang Mai?

I'm going to be living in Chiang Mai for a year or so while I do all my schooling.

I'm an artist in my spare time and I was wondering if I will have a hard time

finding basic art supplies like canvases and paints in Chiang Mai.

I could easily get paints shipped to me but a canvas is already expensive let

alone the shipping price that would come with it if I were to have it mailed to me.

This topic was just covered last week... but anyway,Big art supply shop on Ratchwiti Rd. near U.N. pub is well stocked for prestretched canvas, oil ,acrylics and brushes. Most stationary stores have some supplies, D.k. books has cheaper student grade stuff.

Thanks for the replies. I had only found the book/art store on the moat near Loi Kroh road.
