Where can i get lots of German Channel?

Im new here in Chiang Mai. I have a house here in Sansai area and i want to have a german channel in my TV. I dont understand nothing from Thai Channel.

Can anyone tell me where i can make German Channel?

Both True and WETV have [a watered down version] of Deutsche Welle. Deutsche Welle Light as I call it. That's about it as far as I know.

Edit: I suppose if you had one of those large dishes you pick up more channels but I'm not sure. I seem to recall a 2nd German channel in Phuket (and about 10 Russian channels).

One or more of Explore 1, 2, 3 on True have the odd German language program (I think, though maybe they're dubbed into English). Probably need at least the Knowledge package to get them.

Thai Visa has an English language only rule for postings.

And no, we are not picking on anyone- the owner and more than a few of our administrators and moderators are European.

Including Germans.

The local cable TV company WETV (as mentioned) has only one channel of German language programming- Deutsche Welle.

I suggest Jonrek2012 send a private message to member bikerjoy (or vice versa), and get the particulars about receiving Global TV, which seems to be a Thailand based channel with German language programming, targeted to German, Austrian and Swiss German language speakers.

Other than that, live streaming TV from Germany via internet (as mentioned) seems to be an option as well.
