Where does it say he gave up his British citizenship to work in Aussie...he went there when he was 13, according to his bio, at that time, you never needed a British passport until you were 16, further arriving in Aussie so young, on assumes he was automatically nationalised as an Aussie once he reached a certain age, which not sure if its 16 or 18 in Aussie.
