Car Ownership

Featured Replies

I bought my girlfriend a new car ,paid cash and it was put in her name only , not a problem at first because we were going to get married before I left back to Hawaii ,but it didnt happen now I need her to put me on as co owner of the car for tax reasons ,can this be done in Thailand ,having two people on the ownership papers , and can it be done with not inn Thailand?

As far as i know there can only be one owner in the car book. Not two, so that should be changed in your name at the land transport office. I could be wrong though people more knowledgeable about this will soon appear.

Actually, there needs to be a lot of signs at every Thai airport saying "Yes Dorothy, there really is one born every minute."

If you bought the car for your GF, why do you now want your name on the registration of what was a gift from you to her?

So many rich people on here that can afford to buy their GF a new car.

So many rich people on here that can afford to buy their GF a new house

.So many people on here that were once rich, but then bought their (soon to be ex-) GF a new car and a house.
