My kids and relatives have been singing "Loy, Loy, Katoey..." Can anyone confirm whether floating a transvestite is indeed a legetimate way to celebrate the festival. Tips and suggestions welcome as I am quite ignorant of this new variation.

could be one of those words that mean some thing else completely when used in a different tone.

100 100 rabbits!

Loads of ladyboys on the floats tonight, or maybe just men.

I believe it would be ok to float Loi Katoeys down the river as long as they are made from natural materials. I'm not sure if silicone qualifies as such.

Ah, but these were not slurs. As I have been watching them come in, the comments have been quite staccato.

Of course they are slurs. How can you say they are not?
