Know this have been asked a million times before but want to be sure I understand the rules.

I applied and was issued a retirement extension 24. July 2012. Included a multiple reentry permit. I left for Europe end of August 2012 and arrived in Thailand again 4. November 2012. After what I understand my first 90 days report should be 1. February 2013 and no report is needed in between because the 90 days start to count again when I arrive in Thailand, am I correct?

Correct, 90 days from your last entry. But, you can do it 15 days prior or up to 7 days after your due-date, so there's some flexibility allowed.
