Border Run To Wang Prachan Malaysia
My last Non-O multiple entry 90-day stamp expired this month, so I traveled to the Wang Prachan border in Satun to obtain a 60-day Visa Exempt. I explained that I wanted to return on the same day and was informed that a fee of 2000 baht was required. After paying the fee, I received a ticket number which I had to present on the Malaysia side and again on the Thai side upon arrival. Everything went smoothly. I inquired about the frequency of doing this, and I was told that currently, I can do it as many times as I want, but the rules may change in the future. I hope this information is helpful to some of you! -

Help on "Retirement Visa"
Tell him to try different banks and even different branches of the same banks as the clerks there all have a different understanding of who can and can not open a bank account. I opened a Bangkok Bank in Phuket with a 30-day visa. It all worked with an ATM, debit card, etc, but I had to get a one-year visa extension before I could use online banking also with the iPhone app. -

Billie was actually born a boy, for the record. Hence the tomboy name. Not that it matters musically. She/he looks creepy to me. It's painful to watch as a video. And even though the lyrics might be about "loving someone until their grave", I don't get the impression this human being has the capacity to love anyone until their grave. I don't think the lyrics are from the heart. Partly because I don't think Billie Boy writes their own lyrics and the beatles did wrote most of their own lyrics. The voice is 95 per cent autotuned? Who knows how much fakery with tech has been injected into the voice. The voice is not as rich and unique as the voices of the Beatles. And what else? All the musical instruments are computers. No one is actually playing a real instrument. In some ways, this song shows the degradation of modern music. -

Leaving the bar stool ...
A short local O&A, and only 85 kms away. Popped up to Pranburi beach area, (Pak Nam) just north of us, to see what's up on a weekend (Sat). Apparently left a little too early for festivities; bands, more street vendors, and some 'mini' balloons. Stopped on the way back home for a nice munch. If in the area, would recommend the munch spot, at very north end of Sam Roi Yot beach. Cappuccino frappe sucked, but food was tasty. -
