Thaiquila
I know you can use 008 to get a lower rate, but is it the same rate if you are calling a CELL phone in the US as oppposed to a mobile?

lomatopo
As I understand it, dialing the U.S.A. from Thailand using the TOT 008 prefix results in a cost of 7 THB (exclusive of VAT) per minute. This tariff is the same for any called party in the U.S.A., whether they are on a fixed line, or mobile (cell, cellular). Some services do charge more if the called party is on a mobile, but not 008 as far as I know. Calling from the U.S.A. to Thailand sometimes results in a higher cost if the called party is on a mobile vs. a fixed-line (02). http://www.tot.or.th/en/index.php http://www.calls.in.th/contents.php?id=186 So If i make a 1 min. call to the U.S.A. using the 008 prefix my pre-paid 1-2-Call balance will be reduced by 7.49 THB.
