Can any one recommend a good tax consultant or adviser for US citizen?

I need to work out the details of various investments and funds which I have and will purchase and how to properly report them to the IRS.

Can't you find assistance from the US online?

The likelihood of finding anyone here who is competent and who doesn't overcharge is close to zero.

Recently, I checked up on the same topic. There is a US tax preparation service in Sansai, outside of Chiang Mai, where I live. The office has a Thai and an American who are the staff there. Their web site is https://us-taxpayers.com

Their telephone number is: (053) 869 155. The e-mail for the American consultant is [email protected].

I've never used their services before, so I can't provide any feedback on their services/fees. Presently, I'm on assignment outside of Thailand but I plan to check them out when I return to Thailand in March, 2013.

I'm looking for someone in the Bangkok area and would prefer to deal face to face.

I wouldn't want to leave such matter to over the net or distance service.

Especially someone who has knowledge of investments in Thailand and equity holdings.
