Ford Laser Tierra 1.6 (2007) A Good Buy @ 200,000 Baht?

Featured Replies

Was looking for an AT car for my wife to start learning to drive again and my neighbour turns out to be changing her's next month. I haven't gone as far as taking it to our mechanic but it drives fine and looks sound with 90k kilometres on the clock, no boy racer mods and the lady next door has only put 9,000 a year on it for the last couple. Problem is that I can't find much about that model online other than the specs and there seems no mention of it on this forum - does anyone have any thoughts or experience with it.

Sounds quite cheap to me.

Since you know the guy, I'd be very, very tempted if I were you.

Depends on the year but about the right price

41 For Sale here........... http://www.taladrod....spx#mk:10 md:49

Dealers and Tents will be more expensive, but 60 here http://www.one2car.com/search/search_result.aspx?Brand=B0018&Model=S0148&

Edit: only just noticed is 2007, thought the last were 2005 with an odd few left registered in 2006............ late 2004 replaced with the Focus..

Can't offer any special insight i'm afraid to say, but i did look into this car a few years ago and thought that it would make a good buy in that it's a good bit cheaper than an equivalent Japanese car, and pretty much as good. 90K on the clock is excellent.

Are you sure though that it is 2007? Must admit i didn't think they were still selling them then. Most i saw on the market were more like 1997. If it is only 5 years old, at 200k it is a bargain. Snap it up!

Sorry. I made a mistake on the date - it's 2549 which I think translates to 2005, not 2007 but from your feedback I think I'll take over to my tame mechanic and check to see it I missed anything in terms of crash damage.

Many thanks for your comments. smile.png
