Last Day

If you exit immigration at Bangkok you will be overstay one day and mark may be made in passport but no fine will be due and they allow for that. Some connecting flights a through and immigration would be at original airport I believe so in that case it would not be overstay and no mark would be made in passport.

Connecting flight? With Bangkok Airways, right?

There is a chance, in case Bangkok Airways send you to the Phuket immigration, that the Phuket officer, doing your exit stamp, is looking for your departure time. And day!

And till now, I know only, they charge also for the first day. Even kids under the 'charging age' (for overstay fines) get charged.

It can be a good idea, to check the baggage through, but do the immigration thing in Bangkok. But will you have a option?

Oh, maybe you have:
