Police raid shops selling sex enhancing drugs illegally

PATTAYA:--Several local retailers fell on hard times yesterday, as police raided retailers thought to be selling drugs designed to overcome sexual dysfunction.

Three local Pharmacy shops in the area were raided on Monday evening as Police, together with the Women and children’s protection unit checked the local retailers who were reported to be selling sex enhancing products which, in many cases, are considered to be copies and not original products.

Drugs found at the stores were confiscated and staff taken for interviews at the police station.

Three Central Pattaya Pharmacy’s raided by Region 2 Police

PATTAYA:--Region 2 Police raided three Pharmacy’s along the same road in Central Pattaya late on Monday Night which were thought to be selling sex enhancement medication which requires the pharmacy to obtain a special license which each Pharmacy does not have.

A foreign operative, armed with marked bank notes, entered the first shop, the Smile Drug Pharmacy in Soi Baukao, Central Pattaya. He was able to purchase Kamagra Jelly and as soon as the transaction was complete officers moved in and detained the shop owner, Khun Sirigan aged 25. Items seized includes 8 boxes of Kamagra Jelly, 9 packets of Viagra Tablets and 4 boxes of Super Viagra.

The team then moved to another Pharmacy located close-by, the SJ Pharmacy owned by Khun Pitlayar aged 30 where an unspecified amount of unlicensed medication was seized.

Not sure it matters which branch of the police stops illegal sale of drug products by those with no licence to do so.
