I just asked my GF as she was watching Thai TV news what happened to the young guy who killed the policeman in his Ferrari and then drove home? She said, Oh, case closed. Apparently his family paid compensation to the policeman's family and that's it. No penalties for hit and run, driving under the influence, lying to police etc. If this is true, the level of injustice in this country is sickening.
