jiangaq
i'm coming into Thailand by non-b visa and i would like to learn thai language getting the ed visa at the same time, but i heard of that i must leave thailand at first. Does any one have good advice for me not to leave thailand and apply the ed visa locally in CM? How much totally incl. extension fee every 3 month? Does any language school in CM can do that? Mario2008
You can study on a non-B visa entry. After 60 days you can try to get an extension of stay based on your study, with the help of the school. But suspect they will tell you to apply for an ED-visa abroad. Your school will have a better feel for the local situation.
lopburi3
Each extension of stay will cost 1,900 baht and any travel out of Thailand will require a re-entry permit costing 1,000 baht.
ubonjoe
All that is required for the extension is a non immigrant visa so you should be able to get it without leaving the country. Edited December 21, 2012 by ubonjoe
