December 20, 201213 yr As i was getting the keys to my new z1000 today they said i am very lucky. I then asked why? I was informed that tax on imports (not grey) will increase 10% . So a new z1000 will be an xtra 59000 baht in 2013. I thought they were suppose to be reduced 5% a year?

December 21, 201213 yr The Thai government has the right to alter the tax reduction as it sees fit, the downside is that Japan can adjust the import tax measures on goods imported from Thailand (this goods not need to be in the same sector or industry), as in fact you can find, within weeks, that the import duty on Thai rice to Japan has increased so much that Thai Jasmine and other rice will be one of the most expensive rice in Japan, after the Risotto rice from Italy.... And this that Thailand is trying to sell more rice to regain the number one status of the number one rice exporter.... With Thailand almost exporting 1 million metric tons of rice to Japan who hurts who..... Edited December 21, 201213 yr by Richard-BKK
