ianh68
Can anyone recommend a bike shop in Bangkok where I can buy a waterproof cover for my bike? I'm a pensioner who likes to cycle to the shops, that's about it. It's not a mountain bike or a racer and it has a basket on the front where I put my shopping. Thanks. aarn
Try a Hypermarket - BigC, Tesco etc. Go to the section selling motor/bike accessories. I have occasionally seen cheap, lightweight motorbike covers for sale

It has a basket on the front and a cargo case on the back and the cover is big enough to fit over both. Bought one at BigC and one at Tesco for my gas scooter. Each was between 200 and 300 baht. It's a little goofy looking, but it definitely keeps the dust off. Not sure it's waterproof, but I wouldn't want it to hold in the condensate moisture and cause rust.
