First of all, I'm not an alcoholic as I consume less than 3 liters of alcohol a day . But i like sometime to buy on of those bricks of Vin Up as they are dirt cheap at 79 baht a liter.

I know it's not a quality wine but it tastes/drinks like a fruit juice, and it's almost the price of it, and at 9% alcohol it sure makes you drunk.

It produced in Argentina and on the brick is written, made from wine and vegetable extracts, so I guess it's full of vitamins as well .

My question now is if anyone knows what's inside that carton. As it is imported it at least must pass some import/ export standards, but knowing the origin country and the country where it is for sale, I'm not sure if that means anything.I for instance won't touch Sangsom, Mekhong or Black Cock with a bargain pole.

Does anyone has some more information as if this is also available in western countries and if it's safe to consume it.

I said vegetable extracts, also translated as vitamins, and we all know about vegetables that everyone should have it's daily portion .

I don't know if any pharmacies stock it yet, but it's available at Best supermarket 99 Bht, foodland 99 Bht and friendship 79 Bht.

Best had it on promotion last year for 59 Bht It's available in white or red as most wines are

It's available at most supermarkets, however having tried it once I wouldn't advise to send it to people you care about.
