How do you know what visa they are own. I would assume they are married to a Thai who has that spot. Getting a spot in one of the bazaars is very hard to do, I would say impossible for a falang

Why you no ask them youself?

because he prefers to get diverse opinions and put downs from TV members without the nausse about such a subject none of us know anything about...........thats what we all do isn,t it?

you want a smart phone....ask here first,

you want a bank lending rate.... ask here first;

you want to try a new restaurant...ask everyone else here first

you want a new girlfriend....ask everyone here

you want a new car....ask here first.

Come on AnnaBanana; we are all too lazy to do the obvious, ask and try out ourselves first.

Find an empty spot and setup, the city will come and collect the fee when they walk by.

Finding an empty spot is the hard part.

In recent months I have seen a number of farang vendors who are regulars at the bazaars. I don't know about all of them but one guy in particular is not married to a Thai. I've spoken to him a few times. Don't know for sure, but just a hunch that the elderly farang woman who has been selling clothes at the Sunday night market for years, is not married to a Thai.

There are Indians also. And Indians with market stalls in Thip Plaza, Pattaya.

Remember the law here is flexible and often not enforced if it is profitable for the relevant authority not to enforce it.

For some reason Thailand is a refuge from bad experiences in their home land and they bring their attitude here with them while leaving the real experiences behind.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.
