Dialysis In Thailand

Deadcert

Recommended Posts

I have a home in Thailand and my father wants to visit, we have arranged for his dialysis to be done at Pretchuburi Hospital near Hua Hin.

This is the first time the hospital has arranged this for a forienger. Has anybody else any experience either personal or through a family member.

Many thanks...

A friend of mine in Bangkok went for dialysis 3x a week to a hospital there, each time it was 1500.-Baht.

Last year he has had a kidney transplantation in China.

He is back to "normal" now and feels great.

The reason for his kidney problems was diabetes.

When you want more informations let me know, I'll ask him.

Many thanks for getting back to me.

Could I ask where your friend was from and how did he arrange a transplant in China. My Father has been waiting for 7 years for a kidney because he is a rare blood group and kidneys do not come avaiiable very often.

Any information that you have would be greatly appreciated.

Just goes to show don't ask don't get

Excellent. I have told my father and he would welcome any news. Does your friend speak english, if so maybe they could talk to each other, my father would welcome any information/experiences your friend may care to impart.

Many thanks once again.
