One of the many lessons we come to appreciate more on Thai Visa is tolerance.

Personally, many times i get worked up about Thai culture and the differences.

There is always a topic started by a member highlighting something related to our negative thoughts that always turns this around and puts things into a positive interpretation.

One example being the thread presently running on touching children.

I always got worked up by this and couldn,t come to terms with it in a satisfactory way.

Due to this topic i now see why it should not harm anyone and is in fact a show of affection

by the majority of Thais.

Thank you to the O.Poster who,s name i do not have at hand for letting me see the other side of the coin and most important T.Visa for giving us all a platform to communicate from and let off steam.

There have been several examples of this from my look on things which are now acceptable to me

and i,m happy with.

I would enjoy reading about other examples like this that have helped you and if i,ve missed them can help me also.

On a lighter note one of the reasons i didn,t like the touching was from the hygenic perspective, but again affection is important and should be encouraged while being sensible.

The lighter thing i refer to being, unable to observe the nose picking ect. and then touching and discharging whatever they found on my daughter.
