90 Day Reporting

Featured Replies

Hi date 31-Jan-06 I have done my 90 day reporting for the first time by reg-post to Bangkok, its now more than two weeks and still no new 90 slip returned...? is Two weeks about normal to wait...? or should I get in touch with the immigration office...?

Thanks for your advice

I suppose it depends on where you are. Personally, I would never trust the Thai mails with something as important as this. It is such a simple process, specially if you download the document and have it filled out before you go in. Of course, I live in BKK, so it takes me about an hour to go to immigration, get the new document, and come home. That way, I don't have to worry about the mail.

I have done 90 day by mail many times and sometimes they are a bit late, but never have they missed getting back to me. Give it a few more days and then call Immigration (assuming you do not live in Bangkok and cannot go down there).

I did my 90 day report last Tuesday in Bangkok.

I live about 400 km up country so I use the time to stay with friends, go shopping for things I can't get up here and have a small holiday for 4 or 5 days.

It works out fine for me but maybe not for everyone.

I mailed mine on January 31, Today Feb 21 I received the receipt back .

Always a sigh of relief when I get it back 'cause I don't really want a trip to Bangkok .
