December 30, 201213 yr Hello all, I am coming back to Thailand in Feb and will be wanting to exchange some AUD for Baht. Its a reasonable amount and obviously I would like to get a decent exchange rate. I heard about Superrich from some posts on this forum.....but then I found out, like anything in thailand there is more than one 'Superrich'. Is the one in the link below THE superrich, does it matter? Its opposite Thai Farmers bank which is handy..... http://www.superrichthailand.com/contact.html Cheers all.
December 30, 201213 yr You're right, there are different companies using the name SuperRich. I usually go to this one because it's more convenient for me http://www.superrich1965.com/ They advertise their rate on their web site but it changes very frequently, and it's different from one branch to an other. The best way is to give them a call before going and ask for the current rate. They have a branch litterally next door to the "superrich" mentionned by the OP which makes easy to compare rates. They also offer "clean" US bank notes for those who go to countries where it matters. Edited December 30, 201213 yr by JurgenG

December 30, 201213 yr The Orange Superricch puts this disclaimer on their website These rates are applicable for business hours from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm. at the RAJADUMRI and SILOM branch only That's why I say give a call before going. Some branches offer better rate but if you have to pay a taxi and waste half day just to go there, you have to change really a large amount of money to make it worth it.
December 30, 201213 yr Yooyung, you do not say where in Thailand you will be visiting, however, assuming you will be in Bangkok may I suggest you consider VASU as another option. Google it, it is on Suk around Soi 7/1. The rates are about 2 Satang below Superrich but much better than the banks will offer, and for me at least, much more conveniently situated.
December 30, 201213 yr Author Cheers for the info so far everyone. I will look into all that has been suggested. I will be staying in the Rangsit...ish area but the rates the banks are offering, Kasikorn, Bangkok Bank, Krung Thai and the like make it VERY worthwile for me to take the trip into the city. Cheers.
