"A female Baht Bus Driver was arrested and charged with reckless driving causing death"

"the victim’s motorbike which is alleged to have cut across the path of the Baht Bus"

"Despite the facts showing that the motorbike driver appeared to have caused the crash, Thai traffic laws are such that the driver of the larger vehicle is deemed at fault until they can prove otherwise in Court which is why Khun Nittaya was charged pending a Court appearance."

Ok, it needs investigation, but arresting? In a alleged situation, that is to spot many times, a day?

Amazing Thailand. btw, not only a red light, looks like no helmet, too!

If the story is true, the motobike must have crossed four lanes of heavy traffic on the other side of Sukhumvit, before his luck run out. Can't feel much sympathy for the truck driver. Hope she gets locked up for life. City speed limit is 60 kph, but cars and trucks travel at twice or three times that on Sukhumvit.

I hope that you are having a dose of New Year's Exaggeration. Which truck can do 180 kph on Sukhumvit? Might be a few cars when the road is empty (when is that?) but I would like to see a truck managing it.
