Big Visa Question

hello my friends...

Nationality USA

im leaving for thailand here in a few weeks one way on a double entry tourist visa...been there many times on a passport visit but never on a visa visit...there any notes or surprizes i should be expecting on my way there or once i get there at the BKK airport or once i go to immigration...right now all i see myself needing is my luggage, passport with visa...anything else needed so i dont end up looking like a fool when i arrive cause i forgot something or didnt do something before i left to get me through the airport and on my way to Udon...thanxz

It's no different to arriving on a 30 day visa exemption visit.

Just remember to CHECK the permit to stay stamp before leaving the immigration desk, you should get 60 days (the day you arrive is day 1).

you think that we would all have the billz if we were to go there...its cheap, but can get spendy

A few spare passport photos might come in handy if you intend to extend your visa while here .......you can get them done here easy enough just trying to think of something to save you a bit of hassle .

Other than that everything is simple.

Wait until you get here to get passport photos. Use the photo booths you see in every mall here and get a whole sheet of photos(make sure they are the right size) and the little tg working the booth will even cut them to size for you. 10 photos for about 100 baht. Comes in very handy and cheap. They are not good enough to apply for a new passport but just fine for visa extensions etc.
