January 5, 201313 yr Care to expand ? All I see is a recipt for 1,900 thb ... Wasn't a toliet charge was it ?
January 5, 201313 yr They still do but just say they ran out of receipts. A friend was charged 5,000 just the other day even when he asked why it said 1,900 on the board. I think it has gotten better, though, as I don't get any hassle or threats when I put just 1,900 in the envelope along with the documents and copies. They still process a large amount of extensions through visa fixers so I doubt that the staff will need to sell their homes in Belgravia and Monte Carlo.
January 5, 201313 yr I just don't get this...5000 baht bit, I always pay either the 1900 baht or if needing multiple re-entry at the posted price... forget what that is at the moment.... (3800 baht?) I must admit I have never had a receipt, which I guess what this new deal is.... 90 day report a few weeks ago took less than 5 minutes. What I have seen in there is people being rude to the point of thumping on the desk.... well then the immigration guys/girls will make life difficult...
