Inexpensive Flights To Moscow From Thailand

Featured Replies

I keep hearing that one of the reasons the Russians choose Thailand for holiday is because of inexpensive flights to LOS. Has anyone ever taken one of these flights? Which airline? Can one leave Utapao (sp) Airport near Pattaya? Moscow and St. Petersburg has always been on my list to visit.

Aeroflot

Most get here via charter flights. Utapao is a major hub for them. All inclusive packages sold by travel agencies in various parts of the former USSR. Quite a few are actually not Russians, and don't start in Moscow or St. Petersburg. But if Uzbekistan or Ukraine is on your list, you might be in luck!

If you want to visit Moscow or St. Petersburg, Aeroflot is the cheapest. I flew S7 (???) several years ago...was actually a code share with Thai Air! Lucky me....

Right, it's cheap when you take tour trough travel agencies (7 days holiday package with hotel can be cheaper then just air-tickets!), they use charter flights. For example Pegas Touristic company (pegast(dot)ru) do this. And you can try to buy tickets from them (like a hot-deal). Their website only in Russian. But I think in Bangkok office some stuff should speak english.

Other ways are Qatar airways and Aeroflot with acceptable prices.

Good luck!

I've flown Bangkok - Moscow with Aeroflot.

Cheap.

Don't forget to pack a parachute in your hand luggage...you may well need it.
