Happy new yeaqr everyone

For me 2013 has started extremely well. For today my Thai girlfriend had her passport returned with a 6 month visitors visa to UK

We can not believe it and both very excited. If you all go and read my previous posts over the past 5 years, you will see that our application was quite a difficault one, with more hurddles that in the 2012 olympics. My girl friend is married, has no work and lives on her own in Thailand. I returned to thailand in Novemebr 2012 and we applied for her to visit the UK. To be honest I didnt believe she would get it. But we did.

In the past I had thought about getting her divorced, we were told by many people theres no chance of her coming to the UK to visit me while married, well that is rubbish.

I showed 6 months pay , 6 months bank balances, letters from friends and family and my self. We provided copies of phone calls, but to be honest i hadnt called her really much in 2 years because of facebook chat, of which i said we couldnt prove. That was it.

I completed the online application, gave her the paper work and went home to UK. I left her to go to bangkok , of which took her 30 minutes, they took her finger prints and photos, asked her about our relationship and sent her away....but we got the visa.

I want to thank Thaivisa.com and all that have made commnets, given guidance and helped me in so many ways over the last few years, you are all amazing.

I want to also say to anyone with a Thai girlfriend who wants to visit UK, do the application, dont lie, get the paper work right, be real and hopefully you will get this amazing chance...... it doesnt matter if they work or not, married or not, children or not. Just be real peeps.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

I wouldn't say that having a reason to return is a 'load of rubbish.' After all, it is a requirement of the immigration rules (para 41(ii))

However, showing one is a lot simpler than many people, put off by the scare stories, think it is.
