Well, one is simply an allegation. An unsubstantiated allegation by The British Bashing Corporation. A story. Hearsay. Jumped on by the usual Brit Haters. The other actually happened in many cities over the course of several years resulting in several (although not nearly enough) convictions and subsequently a massive cover up. Hardly comparable.
