PATTAYA:--Almost one month after a Petty Officer First Class who works at the Sattahip Navy Base is alleged to have indecently assaulted a 9 year old girl, Police assisted by the Pavina Foundation, which cares for under-privileged women and children and those who come to harm, arrested the Navy Officer at his home in Soi Kao Noi.

Armed with an arrest warrant, Police went to the house of Petty Officer First Class Anaerg aged 40 at the Ratanagorn Village at 9.30am on Saturday. The suspect was arrested and items including a computer set and mobile phone were seized.

The arrest was prompted by a Police Report made by the Mother of a 9 year old girl who was allegedly lured to the suspects house where, on two occasions in December, was sexually assaulted. Sexually explicit video clips of the girl were also found on the suspects mobile phone and computer, as were clips of other young girls who are believed to have been assaulted and filmed by the suspect over the period of many years.
