Toni
warning to expats in Spain going to live in Thailand: when you have a mail-address with www.terra.es take notice that you better inform your present contacts and change over onto another provider: they are not accesable anymore (access denied) from Thailand because of the war against porno! Terra, by the way, is one of the biggest Latin providers servicing Spain, Latin America and Venuzuela for example......! Well done
clokwise
This is really sad. But I guess this is one way for the Thai ISPs to be rid of the int'l bandwidth problem - just arbitrarily block heaps of foreign websites regardless of content. But it's even sadder that the admins of Thaivisa apparently don't want us to even discuss how to work around this problem.

Well done I was in contact with Terra in the States (www.terra.com) and they advised to enter Terra Spain through terra.com.ar or terra.com.mx (Argentinia and Mexico). I am waiting now for deneing access to Yahoo and Google!
astral
In the Middle East and China you will find that Yahoo and Google are being censored. I was trying to find a report issued by the Police in the UK on the subject of the Effect of Pornography in Sex Offenders, that I had seen mentioned in the newspaper. I could not get access....................... The words Pornography and Sex were not permitted. Quite ridiculous. How can anyone do serious research in this environment?? marquess
Well it is going exactly the same way here! Soon they will start to censoring stuff of a political nature, that they feel is "inappropriate!" Just have to stay a step ahead!
