spacedcowboy
Hi can anyone tell me if there are any Passport Photo Booth's on Samui ideally in Chaweng, where do you get your Passport photos taken here?
PoorSucker
Kodak shop, no booths. There's several on the beach road in Chaweng. If you want a real good photo, go to a shop near ticket counter Cineplex in Tesco.
saweden
There is a photographer in Tesco Lotus who will do such photos. Mind you he'll take the liberty to Photoshop your face. He removed one of my spouses moles

Take the pic - have a cup of coffee - pick up the snaps. Sorted.

samuijimmy
Fuji Photo Shops, do it too.... Make sure if for your home country passport, what colour the back ground should be.... i.e only white background. (at least in the case of Canada.... and don't have a hint of a smile ) Samui immigration does not seem to care.... except it is supposed to be recent. (not sure about work permits etc!) PoorSucker
(not sure about work permits etc!) Work permits must be 5 x 6 centimetres in size, not passport size. Ohh, and as male you must wear a tie and a jacket, not kidding.

Ohh, and as male you must wear a tie and a jacket, not kidding. Went and did my WP yesterday. Made 5cmx6cm pictures and was told only needed passport size for the new WP?? Oh and I was wearing a smart polo shirt. Not Samui though. Edited January 31, 2013 by jambco984
spacedcowboy
Had a look today in Tesco Lotus Chaweng shop that was suggested. 180 Baht for passport photos and a variation of other photo requirements was also listed on the wall inside the shop, my new passport photo's (after the photoshop treatment) no longer resemble me, I've never looked so good, I'll be cancelling that face-lift appointment pronto. Many thanks Now a truly Handsum Man

My photos from that shop were rejected because of that when I renewed my passport and I was asked to send again.
