Has The Weather Pattern Has Changed Permanently In Pattaya ?

Featured Replies

Pot plants is slang for marijuana.

Really?

It certainly is in the US.

In the UK one could say either pot plants or potted plants and be understood as meaning ornamental plants in pots.

Same in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. A "pot plant" is a plant in a pot. As a non-smoker I didn't appreciate the double meaning. I'll have to be careful when communicating with Americans.

Do you have any idea why it is called "pot"? "Dope" or "smoko" is more common where I come from and the origin quite obvious.

How ever did a topic about the weather morph into one about Marijuana?

Hey tropo, thanks for that. I may be reading it wrongly but it shows the average over 30 years, it does not appear to show the trend over 30 years ??

And it ends 22 years ago.

I think it's always bad weather. Either soggy or humid. I just went out and I'm sweating like mad. It's hot out there!

I'm glad you noticed that.
