Navy donates home to injured Sattahip marine

SATTAHIP:--The Royal Thai Navy has built a new home for a Sattahip-based marine who lost both legs when a bomb went off during a patrol in Thailand’s restive south.

Vice Adm. Sonthaya Noichaya presented the three-bedroom, two-bath home in Nakhon Ratchasima to newsjsSommai Seemaung, mother of Petty Officer 1st Class Suthin Seemuang, Jan. 24 in the Central Thailand city.

A member of the Marine Transportation Corps, Suthin was on patrol in Narathiwat Sept. 5, investigating offensive graffiti on a road sign when a bomb exploded, injuring him and three others.
