rendos
Hello, I'm planning to go to PP top get my non b on Tuesday. I read that there will be a four day holiday because of the Royal burial. Anybody knows if the embassy will be open by Tuesday ? I tried calling their number.
expatman
The Thai Embassy will be open, but it takes at least 3 days to get a visa.
Kaoboi Bebobp
A word of warning: During the period of your visit, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims will be in town from the countryside to pay their respects to the departed king. Some major streets will be closed and will be teeming with visitors. Give yourself extra time to get around and possibly expect some price gouging from tuk tuk drivers and maybe hotels. phuketrichard
its not that bad, been up here since the 31st although it is not easy to get east of Nordom to the riverside between street 154 and the Monument.and lots of blockades for people with put passes. Tonight is the actual cremation.Holiday runs the 1st-7th. All business will open tomorrow but still. if u turn passport on Tuesday morn u get back Firday afternoon; Out of town locals have been kept out of the city. My advice USE AN AGENT for $5 more.
