puuchai299
I just bought a new car.and I'm part exchanging my old one. I provided Ford with immigration resident proof form, but now they say I need to go back and get another in order to sell /transfer the old car. Just wondering if anyone has had to do this.?? Or have Ford got it wrong? Thanks for anyone's help...
JeffreyMcCollum
Buying you need proof, be it house book, ID Card, Work permit, or Imm letter TO sell just need to sign the paper, and maybe a signed copy of passport or ID card
JohanBKK
I heard that you need the paper also when you want to sell.

Many (but maybe not all) dep. Of transport offices also need this document from the seller of the vehicle. Thai nationals also need their proof of address (tabien Bahn) as the seller... Thanks Monty. This maybe sheds some light on it. It had me wondering as right at the last minute they asked me to get another residency letter,I think it could have been the salespersons supervisor that noticed I needed it at the last moment.. williewolf
Went last week to CW to get a residency letter and the form I filled in you had to tick a box stating if the letter was needed for a car or motorcycle licence or for buying or selling a vehicle.
