Did You Want Fries With That Sir?

PATTAYA: -- A 60 year old British Expat left a Whopper of a mess at Pattaya’s McDonald’s Drive thru, when he wrapped his car around the service booth instead of pulling up slowly alongside to place his order.

newsjs

Obviously in a rush to get his McFlurry, Big mac and Fries, the un-named expat is said to have mistaken the accelerator for the brake… and managed to partially demolish the booth where most people come to a halt to collect their order.

McDonalds’ staff were in shock when the authorities arrived but none were hurt as they had been in a different area when the collision occurred. [more...]

Yup, those drive through's are pretty complicated.

"(Shome mishtake, shurely? Ed)" is supposedly a blue pencil by the editor, who is slurring a little after lunch. It may have allusions to the late Bill Deedes (Lord Deedes), who did slur that way. He was also the eponymous "Dear Bill" that the fictional Mr Thatcher was forever writing to while his wife was in government. These articles were actually written by John Wells.

Thats what you call Mc f@#ked up

Macca's rage....I don't want f*%#@n fries with that.

judging from damage on the left front it would appear maybe he should not be driving and may have done similar elsewhere .

How embarrassing. wink.png ...................coffee1.gif

Regardless which entrance he used, a building is a building and should be negotiated with the steering wheel. sad.png

There is no need to remove one's hands from the wheel to wai to the Ronald. He's not real.

Maybe he was 'pointing' at what he wanted on the menu

Maybe he was frustrated after ordering a ice cream and got asked you what fries with that?

Why does the editor state that there is not a mistake in the Headline? What the heck is a "Mishtakes"?
