Can My Son Fly Domestically Without A Passport?

Recommended Posts

I have a 6 month old son and as of yet I haven't been able to get to Bangkok for the translation of his birth certificate, which I need to apply for his passport.

Is it possible to fly from Bangkok to Krabi with his birth certificate as identification?

Thanks, Puyai

Any form of identification is suitable for anyone of any age for domestic travel, not everyone who flies domestically has a passport.

I doubt if they will even ask for ID for a baby, they will probably just say aahhhh.

Poor advice. They most certainly ask for id when you fly with a child. Birth certificate or even certified copy or translation is adequate. without some form of id you wont get past check in, let alone airside or boarding.

That's why I said "Any form of identification is suitable for anyone of any age for domestic travel"
