rbrooks
Sounds like my story but with a different twist. 300km north of BKK which would put it where my ex is in Phetchabun roughly. Trust me I went through the same scenario, but married her in the USA on a fiance visa. Paid the ridiculous Sinsod (Scam Money). I paid monthly of course for her Mom and daughter also as part of the package. She stayed with me for 8 months and then claimed mother was sick could not take care of daughter so she had to leave. Paid for another visa and one for her daughter brought them both back to USA and within 8 days found out she was making calls to her boyfriend in Thailand. When faced with the evidence (Vonage phone activity) she denied it all claiming it was brother, cousin, uncle, buffalo etc. That same day she said she wanted a divorce, go back home, all my money and wanted to kill me. She told me her friends advised her she hit the jackpot when marrying a farang. I had her videotaped during the conversation in my home fearing the worst. After I let her rant I paused the recorder and showed it to her. I told her that in her country she could kill me and nothing would happen to her. I told her, this is America baby and for just threatening to kill me I could get her up to 10 years and free deportation back to the LOS. I told her I would grant her two requests out of the four she was asking for. Had her sign all divorce docs, gave her $100 cash and then sent her at 4am to the Delta terminal in Atlanta back to Thailand on the 8th day and told her she can tell her Thai boyfriend he can have her fat ass back and the money train has now stopped. She still tries to email, apologizing etc. I just send her a pic of my lovely Filipina wife and tell her I am finally happily married and am over the lies, betrayals and BS I have encountered with her and other women in Thailand. I know there are success stories out there marrying Thai women but they are few and far between. Trust me, drop her like bad dream and run far away.

TommoPhysicist
Thank you for your advice. Yes, I am moving forward. Once a TRUST is broken, it is difficult to repair. The fact that she wants to keep the baby means she did not really love me. More like, the money you gave her enabled her to have the baby with her real Thai husband.

Morakot
we can all be smug in the knowledge that instant relationships are total BS, but when your life in Farangland is total crap there is a tendency to wrap every happy moment of a 2-week holiday up into your 'vision' of a single human being. And I thought it only happens in Las Vegas.
MrWorldwide
Never been to Vegas, but our own Gold Coast has amusement parks, nightclubs and a casino. It's also extremely popular with criminals from further south. I see more than a few parallels between a casino and Disney, er, Thailand ! The biggest is that once you begin to see the man behind the marionette stall, it's very hard to 'unsee' him. Even so, I'd much rather wake up in LOS than the 'Dole Coast' - casinos bore the shit out of me.

Macau is the new fun spot for that type of shenangins
