Mawin Hotel Review

Featured Replies

I was "stranded" for a week with no place to rest the heads and as it was the Lunar New Year, most of the usual suspects were booked solid and I chanced upon this new opening to try out for a week.

If you have family / friends swinging over for short term and you are looking for a good stay in town, it's worth considering this

Location - Right across the iron bridge with a 4 storey grey brown building. It's new and opened just about 3-4 mths ago.

They offer 2 types of rooms @ the following

750 / nightly

900 / nightly

The main difference between the price is a safe and a balcony . For those that enjoy a good sunny afternoon, the rooms fronting the bridge are worth considering and are the 900 baht category ones. Nighttime get u nice river views and all the lovebirds smooching away at the bridge

The rooms right at the back *-11 series are quiet and face the back of a guesthouse.

In the room, tiled and well cleaned. You get free wifi with the rates and the surroundings is nice. 1 min walk to the river market restaurant and a couple more get you into the night market strip with loads of restaurants. There is a noodle store next door that has good fare for the 30-50 baht quick meals.

There is a 7-11 next door and the rimping supplies everything else u need plus a S&P cafe great for afternoons and wifi. Nice massage shop within 1 min walk

In front of the hotel, there are tons of tuk tuk and song tawe that get U anywhere

Good option for those looking for someone near the night market when family visits and u are looking for a quiet and reasonable place.
