Non Immigrant "b" Visa Renewal 3 Weeks Before Expiry?

Featured Replies

Good day to all.

I am planning to go on vacation outside Thailand fron MAY 01-18, 2013.

I am currently employed here at a 5-star hotel in Koh Samui from 2009 til present.

My current NON B visa extension will EXPIRE on MAY 12, 2013.

Is it possible to extend my visa 3 weeks before expiry? Or if possible renew it 2 days before my flight say renew on APRIL 28?

Ive went home on vacation previous years without visa problems coz the dates I chose were still ample for my length of stay outside thailand thus no problem too woth re entry.

Normally my employer extends my Visa and I dont have to go to the Immigation office as I sign already a Special Power of Attorney.

I have a work Permit too.

I am confused of how to do the re entry in connection with my current visa which will expire while I am on vacation.

This is my first time to experience this and I have overlooked the dates and my flights are already booked.

Much appreciated if somebody can help enlighten me on these matters.

Thanks!

More power to Thai Visa.

The immigration office welcomes your new application for extension of stay any time during the last 30 days of your current permission to stay. Do the extension first, then on the same visit to the immigration office get your re-entry permit.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Yes. Extension applications are welcome within the final 30 days of you current permission to stay.
