Travel agent? Why not just look online on sites like momondo.com or others.

You're paying £200 extra for the convenience of flying from Manchester. Cheap flights depart from Heathrow...

Easter at the end of March, Songkran mid April, school holidays.

All the above are possible high season fares.

Try direct through airline websites.

I saw a topic recently where someone flew to a port in Europe on a LCC then to BKK.

It supposedly avoided the high UK taxes to non-EU countries.

Maybe worth looking into.

Probably from £480 and for certain dates much more.

Plenty online places to compare.

just noticed even this site is jumping on the bandwaggon with the add. for TITANTRAVEL. FLY TO BKK FOR LESS THAN £420. please find me flights

Ubonoz is right Easter hols and Songkran, also a lot of late bookings for March due to annual leave holiday entitlement being used up before new tax year starts will be a reason for higher fares.

have you looked on: www.skyscanner.net can use the whole month search, if travelling either side of the Easter hols then can still get a fare on decent connections of around £550 from Manchester.

You do not specify how long you want to stay. In most cases one month fares are the cheapest, if wanting to stay longer you normally pay more.

The least attractive airlines are usually the cheapest, ie. Jet Airways, Air India, Aeroflot etc.

Jet have a fare for about £520.00/return early April from LHR.

All fares are advertised "FROM" but you have to look at the date range when they are likely to be available. Also, public holidays etc in those ranges can attract higher fares.

Qatar website has £525.00/return, depart early April, from Manchester

Oman Air website - £530.00/return, depart early April, from Heathrow

Wouldn't be great to have that level of fare available to those of us doing the return trip in the other direction?

Emirates website - £518.00/return, depart early April, from Manchester

I will message you with my address to enable a carton of Leo to be delivered as payment for my services, lol.

Good luck with your booking.
