Need advice please.

I have just accepted work back in the UK and leave next week. Need to apply for a visa for my wife but don't have the time to get everything sorted out myself. Can anyone recommend a reliable agency in Bangkok who we can get to do it for her?

Thanks in advance.

if you are only going to start working now it is gonna be a huge problem, I am sure you need to prove 3 months salary before applying, best get her a family visa to visit, then get everything prepared, she comes back to Thailand sorts out things here then joins you permanently

The forum sponsors have always shown themselves to be a safe bet. There are lots of sharks about!

If you plan to do it in the UK then make sure you use a solicitor experienced in immigration law or an OISC regulated adviser.

She could sponsor her herself and arrange all the visa papers herself. Just an idea...

Be careful out there Draggons.

Cheers

Her husband will need to demonstrate he meets all the new financial requirements for a settlement visa. In the 6 years i have been operating i have only come across two clients who sponsored themselves for visit visas.

This is possible and thanks for acknowledging. However it is very unlikely this should always be an option to be considered first whilst contemplating the motives from both sides of the story.

Thank you for raising this awareness Mr. Thaivisaexpress..wai.gif

Thanks guys. Going to head to Pattaya today. Just want a Family Visit Visa to start with, she might not like the snow, rain, sleat or howling gales (can't imagine why?) and I might not like working back there either :)

I have twice done the visa applications (online with help to prepare supporting documentation) for a friend's 6-month multiple entry visitor's visa - both times successfully. Of course she had to attend the interview alone in Bkk - but that is always the case.
