Southern company exports dried coconuts to Thailand

Kien Giang (VNA) - The Kien Giang Agro-Forestry Products Company in southern Kien Giang province has exported over 500,000 dried coconuts to Thailand as part of contracts signed with its Thai partners.

Under these contracts, the company will ship an additional 1 million dried coconuts to Thailand by the end of March, earning a total of 100,000 USD.

To ensure sufficient coconuts for export, the company has encouraged local farmers to expand their existing coconut-palm cultivation acreages and plant high-yield coconut-palms. In addition, the company has also increased the purchase of coconuts from other Mekong delta provinces.-Enditem
