PATTAYA:--Less than 24 hours after a warning by the Pattaya Police Chief to be aware that street crime in Pattaya is prevalent and foreigners are being targeted as they are considered an easy option for criminals, two brothers from Finland were caught-up in a necklace snatch on Pattaya Beach early on Wednesday morning.

Just after 2am, Pattaya Police were called to the front of Soi 13/1 and met with Mr. Kai Christian Anderson aged 35 and his older brother. A transsexual had been detained by members of the public, who was accused of approaching Mr. Anderson, placing his hands around him and then attempting to snatch a gold necklace from around his neck.

Love how police make the victims point at the accused in every picture. So humane.
