Non Immigrant Visa -thai Consul Laos

Featured Replies

Hi all.. Ok I have done thead searches and read the main posts on this topic but looking for a little more.

I am in the interview process with a major Thai Hospital for a position in their marketing department. I am now on the 30day tourist visa run headache.. my next in/out is later this month.

I have close friend who in turn will be my colleague when I am hired. She can at this point will write me the needed letter on company letterhead stating the intentions to hire me. But I am looking to find out exactly what else I will need from this company to bring along with me to the Thai consul in Vientiane Laos. I am looking to get the Type B multi entry. What is the minimum that I need.. is it just the application filled out there, the fee (how much is it? anyone know?), and this 'letter' from the hospital. What is the protocal here?? how can I be successful?? anyone with input and experience here..

I am in need of a quick answer because my friend will be out of the country as of friday and she wants to write the letter today or tomorrow and get other documents etc.

If i can't get this together in time is it better than to just get the 30day stamp and then wait till I am hired offically etc. or should I try for a 60day tourist?? my passport already has a 60+30day tourist and one 30day stamp. How accomidating are they at the Thai embassy in Vientiane???

Thanks everyone for help in advance!
