Memories are amazing. I have visited many countries and there are thousands of events in my life that I can hardly recall. But to this day I still remember the names of the Greek family where we lodged, the name of the restaurant owner, and I can even picture the stuffed tomatoes that he served, the dusty road in Kassiopi village, and I remember the few words of Greek that I learnt some 54 years ago 🙂 -

METV return flight date on application
Hi, I have booked a flight from UK start October returning end of April, so 7 months. That is more than the 6 months for the visa, but you get another 2 or 3 months on your final entry. presume it is not a problem on the application for the E visa to show that, or do I need to include a my flight out of Thailand after the first 2 months. They see to be only asking g for details of my flight to Thailand from UK. I am just worried if they see the 7 month return date it makes some kind of red flag. Thanks for any guidance. -

As this is your second post I am very reticent It's now apparent to you what you need to do. You just need to sort your life out and do it. I think a really good rule of thumb is never bring them home as they become what you would never have married in the first place. Sincerely wish you the best of luck. -

Illegal Work: Russian Employer and Russian Electrician Arrested
Although I sort of agree with your general sentiment, let's keep to the facts to be against the law, the work doesn't have to be paid work. There's always crazy talk on here when this subject comes up - people saying they can't even paint their house, one guy a while back claimed he was fined for drilling a hole in the wall of his condo etc. All I would say to anyone in that situation is, if what you are doing is on your own premises and falls within the definition of DIY - don't accept any 'fine' from the police. Tell them you want the matter decided by a court - the chances of you receiving a summons are 0 to zero. -
