Where Do Normal People Go Out?

I always take first dates to the beer Garden, then into Bamboo and see how the mood is as to where next. new dates are non bar so need to get a measure of what's acceptable and the beer garden fits the bill for me on that one along with the views and good food, so should fit the bill as a normal start to a night.

Brauhouse or Brewhouse (don't recall correct spelling) on Beach road is 'normal'. And near the not-normal for after. I assume its still there. It's been a few years.

Is called Hopf brauhaus, usually just "Hopf". They have their own micro brewery and particularly their Weiss beer is awesome. A little pricey perhaps.

The beer garden is another favorite.

Hotel bar like the Hilton and the small Dusit next to the avenue might work for you

also the Siam bayview on the south end of walking street has a very nice themed hotel bar. Awesome cocktails!

Siam Bayshore even.

Siam Bayview is the one in central Pattaya Beach Rd, the Bayshore is at the far end of WS.

You are correct about both the bar and cocktails.
